The Unseen Wedding

I’ve been to a number of weddings, and each and every one has been a day to remember. There are few things in life more beautiful than two people professing their love for one another, and vowing to spend the remainder of their lives together, no matter what adversity the couple should be confronted with. The day is usually approached, at least by the couple, with a great amount of reverence and respect, not to mention the fact that they’re running around like chickens with their heads cut off, trying to make certain that everything is just perfect for their special day. As a result, they may not notice the hilarious things going on around them. That’s how it was for us, anyways.

A few days after our wedding, Nicole and I were going through all of the wonderful pictures that people had taken, and we finally got to see all of the wonderful occurrences that we had missed on our big day. Some of the pictures below are fairly self-explanatory, while others are completely baffling, and as a result, are great fun to try and figure out exactly what’s going on.

I haven’t the foggiest idea what we were looking at that could have cause THESE expressions. It would seem as though someone gifted us a Porsche, but since there isn’t one sitting in our driveway currently, that couldn’t be it. Also, how they would have managed to get a car into Nicole’s Mum’s backyard, especially while our wedding was happening would have been quite a feat.

This one is in two parts. The one above was taken prior to food being made available. We think it looks as though Saarah is eating chocolate, but we have no idea where she would’ve procured such a treat. As far as we knew, the only chocolate was atop our cake, and they were hidden from Saarah. The best part of this is when she realized that she had been caught brown-handed!

Oops!

I’m not sure if they’re unhappy about the picture being taken, or if they’re just miserable about being at the wedding. Then again, perhaps it was just a poorly timed picture.

It was raining, ever so slightly during the ceremony, which is why a pillow is being used as a hat. It’s still  pretty funny to see. If I had noticed this while the wedding ceremony was going on, I think I would have chuckled, which would have been inappropriate for such an event. Good thing I kept my eyes on the prize!

One can only speculate about the picture being shown on his camera. My guess is either wacky antics of his children, or full-frontal nudity!

Man, if looks could kill!

Alright, I’ll end with one more of Saarah, again not aware she was being observed, and as a result, goofing it up!

This one was after most people had left and there were just a few of us remaining, and unwinding a bit. I don’t know if she’s doing a funny walk or trying to hitch a ride.

Thank you so much to everyone who was there, and all who contributed to these wonderful pictures.
